Buffer contains Tris HCL at pH 8.0 (1mM), EDTA (100mM), and Denhardt’s solution (1X). To use this product, dilute at 10-fold with sterile deionized water and strip the membrane by 2 hours of incubation at 75°C.

It is ideal for removal of secondary antibody after detection of highly abundant targets. It is also used for nucleic acid and protein related blotting.This buffer contains 0.5X SSC and 100 mM EDTA at pH 8.0. To strip the membrane, dilute buffer to 1X in water. Warm solution to 50-70°C and perform 2 to 3 changes (15 minutes each) of boiling stripping buffer.
